![]() ![]() As time went on, I expanded my knowledge in drawing, acrylics, watercolors, and photography by attending the University of Vermont. I took a bit of a break from my Second Life blogging for a little fun, but I’ll be back soon with more SL reviews and videos.I have encountered appreciators of my art who encouraged, inspired, and commissioned artworks - of a variety of subjects to include landscapes, Native American subjects, and still lifes. Are there other avatar creation apps that you guys would recommend? Link them to me in the comments so I can try them out! I thought the characters you can create on it were so adorably beautiful, you should give it a try! Here’s my Dollify:Īnother character creation app I used in the past was Live Portrait Maker (which is also web-based). This is a picture of what my Bitmoji currently looks like:ĭollify is another app that I recently played around with. I have created a bitmoji for myself and use it sometimes for fun. With Bitmoji you can create your own cartoon based avatar emoji and use it on other social media or messenger apps. Here are some of the ones that I’ve tried and enjoyed. If you’re not into the whole social networking thing, but do like to create characters or avatars and dress them up in different ways, there are numerous avatar/character creation apps too. What other avatar-based social networking type apps do you guys play around with? Avatar Creation Apps I know IMVU, is also an avatar-based social networking type app/world and people keep asking if I have ever tried it, I have not. If you take any pictures of your avatar with my Zepeto avatar and upload to your social media, don’t forget to tag me so I can see it! My Zepeto code is VZLX65, leave your Zepeto code in the comments so others can follow you too. You can follow me on Zepeto if you like, I try to follow everyone back. Here’s a short video I made using a screen recorder on my tablet while I was just going through some of the settings on Zepeto: Ruby has been taking pictures with my avatar as well and I’ve been loving her images so here’s one of hers below, I’m the one in pink: I also shared some of these pictures on my Instagram and Facebook. I haven’t been on it that much but I have changed my outfit a few times and taken some pictures using it. I’ve been fiddling around with it, and honestly, it’s adorable. The app is owned by Naver Corporation, the South Korean internet search giant. You can ‘meet’ other Zepeto characters on the ‘Zepeto street’, play games and take pictures with other Zepeto characters. □ Zepeto is an app that lets you create a 3D animated version of yourself to use in in-app chatrooms. Zepeto is the only avatar-based social network app that I have tried, and only because my friend Ruby made me. These apps will be available on iTunes and the Google Play store. Just a note before I start, the majority of these kinds of apps can only be used on a mobile device like a phone or tablet, but some may be used on a computer with the proper software like Bluestacks. Recently I’ve been encouraged to try out Zepeto, so I thought I would blog about it and see which other apps like this you guys spend time on. Zepeto is one of the latest ones that is not only just an avatar based app, but a social networking app, so it kind of works like a virtual world in that sense. However, there seem to be more avatar-based apps popping up on iTunes and the Google Play store these days, which remind me a lot of virtual worlds like Second Life. I am a Second Life addict, but before Second Life I was not into virtual worlds or games at all. (An image of me, Ruby, Betty, and BrooklynBarbie on Zepeto.
